Mauricio D. Ortiz is an Ecuadorian instrumental Rock Guitarist, Educator, Producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known as Maurock with more of 10 years of experience in variety of musical genres. Completed studies at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, CA. With record of success in teaching private guitar lessons as well some group lessons, composition, performance and knowledgeable in digital audio production.

Sharing a love of music is one of Maurock’s core values. He founded Maurock Music Academy (Gardena, CA) in order to inspire and teach music to all ages in underfunded communities. He also founded Maurock Music Studio (Hawthorne, CA) to provide an affordable option to local musicians who want to record and express themselves.
